About the Event
The annual Trades Teacher Appreciation Dinner is a special evening dedicated to celebrating the educators who are shaping the future of the trades. It’s our chance to recognize their hard work, dedication, and the impact they have on the next generation of skilled professionals.
We can hardly believe 2027 will mark the 6th year of this celebration! Held alongside the International Builders’ Show (IBS), the dinner brings together trades teachers, industry professionals, and supporters for an evening of appreciation, connection, and a whole lot of fun.

APPLY FOR THE 2027 PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIP
The 2027 Program Scholarship provides funding directly to a trade education program for the classroom resources students need to learn, build and get ready for the workforce.
Last year, more than $11,000 was raised to support trade education programs, and we’re looking to keep that momentum going in 2027.
The Program Scholarship recipient will be announced at the 6th Annual Trades Teacher Appreciation Dinner during IBS in Las Vegas on February 3, 2027.
Applicants must be present at the event to be eligible, so this opportunity is open to teachers who are already planning to attend the Teacher Dinner during IBS, or who are selected for the Teacher Trip.
If your program could use a little help getting the right tools into students’ hands, we’d love to hear from you.
NOMINATE A STUDENT FOR THE 2027 STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
Know a student who’s ready to take their skills into the trades? Nominate them for the 2027 Student Scholarship. The scholarship is designed to help a graduating or completing student start their career in the trades off right.
To be eligible, students must:
– Be 18 years old or turning 18 in 2027
-Be graduating or completing their trade program in 2027
-Be planning to pursue a career in the skilled trades after graduation or program completion
The scholarship recipient will be announced at the 6th Annual Trades Teacher Appreciation Dinner on February 3, 2027, in Las Vegas during IBS.
The teacher who nominates the student must be present at the dinner to be eligible.

Come meet and mingle with industry professionals and brands and network with fellow trades educators and supporters.
Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. If you’re a teacher, please fill out the form to confirm your attendance. We will contact you directly after submission to confirm your seat at dinner.

Trade School Shirt Fundraiser
The 2027 Sashco Trades Education Fundraiser is coming soon.
Last year, our Normalize Going to Trade School shirt fundraiser helped support the next generation of trades professionals, and we’re getting ready to do it again.
Stay tuned for this year’s design and fundraiser launch. All proceeds will go toward supporting trades education and the teachers, programs, and students helping keep the trades alive.
