Big Stretch is a high-performance water-based elastomeric window, door & siding caulk that won't crack...it just stretches.
That's why you need Big Stretch. It has powerful adhesion to many surfaces and great flexibility. It will twist, bend, compress, and stretch to handle all of the movement homes can dish out.
Allows the caulking to stretch as your home moves instead of tearing or cracking, even handling wide joints with no slump.
Prevents the caulk from cracking and discoloring, even in the most intense UV exposure, making it perfect for interior and exterior projects.
Unique commercial-grade performance in a water-based formula that goes on smoothly, tools easily, and is easy to clean up with just water.
Compatible with latex paint and most oil-based paints, sealers, and stains and won’t cause paint gloss, making it easy to use on any color.
You’ll love Big Stretch. You can smooth it on as easy as mayo on a BLT. It’s low odor, it meets the strictest VOC requirements, and it’s environmentally friendly. Performs well in any type of climate and is freeze-thaw stable. Simply thaw and apply. No wasted product, no special storage requirements.
Big Stretch keeps the weather out with its permanently waterproof seal. It spans gaps up to 2 inches wide and stretches up to 500% of original joint size without cracking, eliminating costly call-backs, and rework.
Big Stretch comes in a variety of colors*: White, Black, Gray, Slate Gray, Ironstone, Limestone, Almond, Tan, Dark Brown, Woodtone, Redwood, Pine Green, and Clear, and is available in 10.5oz plastic cartridges. White is also available in 29oz fiber cartridges. A 10.5oz cartridge will yield approximately 26 lineal feet with a 1/4 inch (6mm) bead.
*Colors available in the USA, not all colors listed are available in Canada.
I started using Big Stretch a few years ago for between the Masonite siding. Regular caulk falls out after a few years and you have to refill the crack and then try to touch up the paint (almost impossible). I tried Big Stretch. It worked so well that I use it everywhere. It has also transformed my sales presentation and dramatically improved the close ratio. I won’t let my crews carry any other caulk on their trucks and repairs are now almost nonexistent.

The best caulk (for its intended use) that I’ve used in 35 years of residential, commercial construction. It’s the proper consistency for intended use, works well, has great adhesion, and water clean-up.

As of this writing, I have been using this product now for well over 2 years. I tried to figure out how many tubes I have purchased in that time and I am coming up with about 350. I have yet to have a crack or failure, or a call back for a caulking issue.
