An Evening of Gratitude and Recognition for Skilled Trades Teachers
Teachers do a lot. We think they deserve a night.
About the Event
For six years, Sashco has brought together teachers, tradespeople, industry partners and supporters for one night dedicated to the people teaching the next generation of skilled trades.
It started small, and has grown into something we’re pretty proud of.
Held alongside the International Builders’ Show (IBS), the dinner is a chance to bring trade educators, industry professionals and supporters together for an evening of appreciation, connection and, honestly, a pretty good time.
This night is about more than dinner. It’s about putting some real support behind the people doing the work of preparing students for careers in the trades.
SUPPORTING THE NEXT GENERATION
Trade programs need tools, materials and equipment to give students hands-on experience. The Program Scholarship helps teachers get the things their programs need to keep students learning by doing. Every dollar goes toward classroom and program needs and is tax deductible thanks to the KC BS & Beer Society.
This year’s scholarship recipient will be announced at the 2027 Trades Teacher Appreciation Dinner in Las Vegas!

Come meet and mingle with industry professionals and brands and network with fellow trades educators and supporters.
Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. If you’re a teacher, please fill out the form to confirm your attendance. We will contact you directly after submission to confirm your seat at dinner.

Normalize Going To Trade School
The 2027 Sashco Trades Education Fundraiser is coming soon.
Last year, our Normalize Going to Trade School shirt fundraiser helped support the next generation of trades professionals, and we’re getting ready to do it again.
Stay tuned for this year’s design and fundraiser launch. All proceeds will go toward supporting trades education and the teachers, programs, and students helping keep the trades alive.

MORE ABOUT OUR SCHOLARSHIPS
TEACHER SCHOLARSHIP
Each year, one outstanding trades teacher is awarded the Trades Teacher Scholarship, made possible by the generous support of donors contributing to this initiative.
Donations are collected in the months leading up to the Trades Teacher Dinner, tallied before the event, and one final opportunity to give is offered during the dinner itself. At the event, we announce the total raised and present it to the winning teacher. One teacher is selected annually to receive this scholarship and is announced at the dinner.
All proceeds go directly to the teacher’s classroom program, funding essential tools, materials, and resources they need to keep their students learning hands-on skills.
Thanks to the partnership with the KC BS & Beer Society, all donations are tax-deductible and go straight to the school where the teacher teaches.
STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
Supported by generous industry brands, this scholarship helps set one graduating student on the path to success in the trades.
Teachers attending the Trades Teacher Appreciation Dinner nominate deserving students who are graduating that year and pursuing a career in the trades.
The winning student receives a curated package of tools, learning materials, apparel, gear, and more— generously donated by industry brands. These items are selected to give students a well-rounded start, covering both the essentials and extra resources they’ll need to begin their journey confidently.
The Student Scholarship helps a student starting a trades career get a strong head start, equipping them with the tools, skills, and confidence to begin their journey.

Selected teachers receive travel, hotel, and registration—so you can experience the industry’s biggest event, connect with pros, and bring fresh insight back to your classroom. Submit Your Program for Scholarship Consideration
Each year, one outstanding trades teacher is awarded the Trades Teacher Scholarship, made possible by generous industry donors. The scholarship supports your program with funding to expand tools, materials, or learning opportunities for your students.
Nominate a Student for the Student Scholarship
Recognize a graduating senior who’s headed into the trades. One nominated student will be selected to receive a curated package of tools, gear, and materials, all donated by industry brands, to help them launch their career with confidence and the right equipment.
