I was doing some yard work and a guy pulled into my driveway to inquire about the stain we used on our home. He was so impressed with the color and the look of the stain wanted to know more. That is good looking stain!

This communication is to let you know how well your products worked on our log home. We used your products, Sashco's Capture Log Stain, Logjam chinking, and Cascade sealant, on our log home built five years ago. While the home is subject to Colorado's harsh weather and sun at almost 9,000 ft, your products kept our logs looking great. We haven't had to do anything to the exterior. This summer we plan to apply another coating of Cascasde to the logs, but only as a preventive measure.
When we called to confirm we were doing the right thing in the right manner, your personnel proved most helpful. Thanks for providing products that work and backing them with sound advice.

Just wanted to drop a note and thank you guys for making such great products. My wife and I own a 3 year old log home up at St. Mary's Glacier Colorado above Idaho Springs. Not being sure what to use to treat the logs, after 2 years we researched all available options. We needed to wait a year or so because the new logs had a very high moisture content. We let the logs dry out and lose the moisture content but in that time they quickly became weathered.
Now you have to understand that we are only home owners and knew very little about maintaining a log home. Your web site provided all the information that we needed to feel comfortable that we could do a great job. In fact, after interviewing several professional installers, we felt that no one would do the job correctly or take the care necessary to do it well.
At the suggestion of our log miller who owns the Alan Eos Mountain Lumber yard in Bailey, we decided to use your whole line of products. Last year, over a two week period we cleaned and prepped the logs with CPR, preserved the logs with Penetreat, stained with Transformation, and since we are so high up -- our deck is at 10,500 feet -- we decided to put on an extra clear coat of Cascade for the extra UV protection. All of the products were easy to use and easy to clean up.
We waited until this year to allow the logs to shrink and move some, and allow the stain to cure. After our first year (since using your products) and living through a very wet and snowy winter, the transformation on the house looks great! We can tell that it will require very little maintenance and should last a very long time.
This year, we spent 3 days using Log Jam and chinked the whole place. It is such an easy product to use, and we can already tell that it will wear well and make our home air tight. The color blended well with the transformation product and gave the whole place a great cabin look and feel.
So we wanted to drop you a line and say thanks for the great products and the helpful website. I am sure we will be back to complete further maintenance in the future.

You wouldn’t believe the difference in the look of this home. It was half rotten and haden't had a coating put on since 1998. We used Transformation brown tone medium, and the homeowner said that she is going to write you guys a thank you letter. The place was half rotten when we got there and it looks brand new now. She (the customer) was in tears she was so happy today. I was able to blend the old wood and the new wood in the areas that had to be replaced and you can't tell that they weren't all the original package. I will try to send the pictures as soon as I can. I use Transformation because it lasts, wears well, has good color retention, and very good durability. It also has great resistance to mildew. Two-years later there is virtually no mildew in mildew prone areas.

Just an FYI for you technical people, tong oil does draw into the log jam even after letting the log jam cure for 2 weeks. You will notice some yellow areas on the pictures. Your tech support said that there may be some problems as they never tested tung oil..they were correct. I am still very happy with the results and have since done some other areas of the house and will be starting upstairs soon.
