What is Mor-Flexx made of?
Mor-Flexx is a 100% water-based acrylic latex caulk specifically formulated with texture in it to help mimic the texture of mortar, grout, stucco, stone, etc.

How long will Mor-Flexx last? Does it come with a warranty?
Mor-Flexx comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Refer to warranty details on the packaging, product brochure or tech data sheet.

Can Mor-Flexx be used as a mortar or grout?
Mor-Flexx is not a mortar replacement or an actual grout. Instead, it is designed to repair gaps or cracks in existing mortar. Actual mortar has load-carrying, structural ability. Mor-Flexx does not.

Can I use Mor-Flexx around my fireplace?
Yes, as long as the Mor-Flexx and the stone / brick it's sticking to won't get hotter than 250°F (121°C).

Can Mor-Flexx be used on a pool deck to repair cracks? Driveway? Sidewalk?
Mor-Flexx is not recommended for use on these horizontal surfaces. Caulk joints applied to pool decks, driveways, and sidewalks in particular are exposed to prolonged water submersion, the abrasion and abuse of high foot-traffic, and chemical exposure, to name a few. As is the case with all water-based caulks, Mor-Flexx would be vulnerable in these areas.

Can Mor-Flexx be used on expansion joints at the foundation of a home?
In many cases, yes - since these areas are largely away from foot traffic. However, in order for Mor-Flexx to have a decent chance at handling much of the severe expansion / contraction these locations experience, it is critical to properly clean the surfaces and install backer rod before applying it. Don't use Mor-Flexx in these joints if they will be subject to submersion. And be aware that most caulks will have a difficult time in this situation due to the large amounts of movement that usually occur. So, be prepared to perform routine maintenance.
