Sashco's 1936 Academy Awards After Party was a star-studded event!
Sashco celebrated 70 years in business with an Oscar style celebration. Red carpet,
Oscar awards, and 1930s fashions completed the mood. The setting was so authentic,
no one would have been surprised to see Clark Gable make a surprise appearance.
Paul Shessler, National Home Improvement Sales Manager looks like he just stepped
off the Silver Screen.
Oscars were given to members of the Burch family and others who have significantly
helped contribute to Sashco's success.
Alice Hauptman was the guest of honor and winner of the lifetime achievement award.
Alice was married to Sashco founder Don Burch. When Don died in 1954, the company
struggled to survive. In 1965, Alice took over management and nearly single-handedly
saved the struggling business.
Sashco President Les Burch and family arrived in style driving a mint condition
white Roles Royce.
And the Oscar goes to...
